What do you meme? is played with two types of cards: text cards and picture cards (photocards). Then we will see how to use each of them.
The game comes with a cool easel you assemble, where each turn’s photo card is proudly displayed.
Number of rounds
What do you MEME? is played in rounds. In each round each player will have a turn as a judge. Start with one round, then if you’re having fun and have time, go for two or three rounds.
Who’s first?
The player with the most Instagram followers kicks off the game.
Goal of the game
Objective
The goal of What do you MEME? is to create the funniest memes by combining text cards with photo cards.
WHAT DO YOU MEME rules: game development
The judge
The player whose turn it is becomes the judge.
Distribution of text cards
Each player draws 7 text cards, keeping them hidden from the others.
Selection of a photo card
The player acting as judge chooses a photo card and displays it on the easel.
Selection of text cards
Each player picks their funniest text card to pair with the photo on the easel and passes it face down to the judge. No peeking allowed!
Reading MEMES
The judge shuffles the submitted cards. Then reads them out loud, one by one. This is the funniest part. Enjoy the show! Enjoy it.
Round winner
The judge decides which MEME is the funniest. The player who played the winning card reveals themselves and keeps the card. That’s one point!. He is the winner of that turn.
Next turn
Now the player to the left takes over as judge, and the game continues the same way.
Game over – And the winner is…
End of game
The game ends when the number of rounds agreed is completed.
And the winner is…
The player with the most points is the winner.
