How to play “Guess the time”
Set up

PLAYERS
2 to 8 players, ages 7 and up.

REQUIRED OBJECTS
Each player needs a stopwatch. Your phone’s clock app works perfectly!

CHOOSE YOUR CHALLENGE TIME!
We recommend starting with a 10-second game (easier), then 20 seconds (then it starts to get harder), then 30 seconds, and finally, if you dare, challenge yourself with 1-minute games.
Goal of the game

GOAL OF THE GAME
Try to stop your timer as close as possible to the chosen time. That’s how you win!
“Guess the time” rule: playing a game

THREE, TWO, ONE, GO!
Players have their mobile on the table. All the players shout: three! two! one! already! Everyone hits start at the same time and cover the screen with your other hand so you can’t see the time ticking away. Just leave the stop button uncovered.

MENTALLY COUNT…
Each player count the seconds in his head and when he considers that he has reached the time stipulated for the game stops his stopwatch without raising his hand from the screen so that the time marked is not yet seen.

STOP !
When all the players have stopped their stopwatches, it is time to find out the winner. Players raise their hand from their screen one at a time, in the same order in which the stopwatches have been stopped. The player closest to the stipulated time wins, either up or down.
Tips for playing “Guess the time”

PRACTICING
Become familiar with the application of your watch before you start the game.

TICK, TICK, TICK, TICK, TICK, TICK…
You can also spend some time “training” to internalize the tempo of the seconds.
Variants

WHOEVER PASSES BY LOSES
You can add a difficulty that gives more excitement to the game: The closest without going over wins!. If anyone passes the time, then they are eliminated.

THREE ROUNDS
For four or more players it may be more fun to have a Three-round mini tournament. The first 10-second round eliminates the player who has made the worst measurement or passed. The second 20-second round eliminates again the worst player or the one who oversteps. The last one would be a 30-second final between the remaining players.
